Ernest Health, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, has announced the opening of Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital.

The 40-bed medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. This includes strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, multiple traumas, various neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, amputations, and other medically complex conditions.

Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is Ernest Health’s first location in Wisconsin. They provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients within a 200-mile radius.

One example of medical technology offered at the hospital is Rise&Walk® from the Nashville-based company Healing Innovations, Inc. The innovative technology is designed for patients with neurological and mobility impairments. It supports gait training by synchronizing upper and lower extremity movements, providing a versatile neurorehabilitation station that combines robotic-assisted gait training, seated activities, and a balance support zone. The technology is developed in alignment with the latest research to promote neuroplasticity, a key factor in functional recovery.
